The Shearsby Community Association is having a litter pick on Sunday 25th March and welcomes volunteers to assist.

Meet at 10am at Keith and Anne Beeson's on Back Lane. Bring gardening gloves. We will have fluorescent tabards and litter picking equipment provided by Harborough District Council.

Reminding you that it is Tea Break in the Village Hall on Tuesday from 10.30am to 12 noon.

Please come along and bring a friend and neighbour.

As it is near to Easter I am going to make some Hot Cross Buns, but don't worry I will bring some biscuits just in case.

Do feel free to wear your Easter bonnet or your Bunny costume.

Bob Sampson funeral details

Bob Sampson funeral details

Very sorry to report that Bob Sampson died recently. We send our condolences to James and Matthew and the rest of the family.

Bob was a much liked long time resident of the village and he will be sorely missed.

The funeral will be on Monday 19th March at 3pm in St Mary Magdalene Church.

*Please note the correct time of 3pm, not 2pm as previously stated by mistake, sorry.
