Good afternoon,

I just wanted to give you an update on how the works progressing on Welford Road.

This weekend (26 & 27 November) the team will be working over the Bruntingthorpe/Saddington Road jct – the junction will remain open but we'll be using traffic lights to keep everyone safe!

The team will then be making the final connections and reinstatement on Welford Road before moving to the next phase of work on 6 December moving over the junction and working on Welford Road from the Bruntingthorpe/Saddington Road jct towards the Arnesby jct.

Before the next phase of work starts, we're hosting a drop-in session at Shearsby Village Hall, Church Ln, Shearsby, Lutterworth LE17 6PG on Wednesday 30 November from 3.00pm until 6.30pm. It's the residents chance to ask us any questions about the work and for us to find out more about their area, so we can work closely with the community.

The team will be breaking up for Christmas by Friday 23 December 2022 until Tuesday 3 January 2023, the working area will be fully reinstated and all road closures will be lifted over the Christmas period.
