Blocked drains in the village

The blocked drains in Mill Lane were reported to LCC highways on 21 October, and they have confirmed we are scheduled to have the drains cleared during November, although due to high demand they are behind on their schedule and cannot yet confirm a date.

We have also requested drains be cleaned on both Back Lane and in The Square.

Free December Saturday parking

Free December Saturday parking

As the Christmas season approaches, shoppers in Harborough District can ditch their change as there will be free parking at Council-owned car parks for the four Saturdays in December.

Harborough District Council is once again offering free parking to encourage people to shop in the district to boost the local economy.

The free parking will be available on 7, 14, 21 and 28 December 2019.

Tea Break on Tuesday

Tea Break on Tuesday

Come along to our monthly "Tea Break" morning, 10.30am to 12.00noon.

Villagers can pop in for a cuppa and biscuits and have a natter.

It will happen on the same day the mobile library is due so you can change your books and meet up with people.

Table Tennis on Monday

Table Tennis on Monday

Table tennis will recommence Monday 16th September 2019 at 7pm and every third Monday of the month until May 2020.

Table tennis can be played in the village hall on the 3rd Monday of the month from 7.00 - 9.00pm.

Arnesby Big Breakfast - Cancelled

Arnesby Big Breakfast - Cancelled

Arnesby's Big Breakfast on Saturday 9th November has been cancelled due to illness among the volunteers who help at the event.

They hope to be up and running for the Christmas Special Breakfast on 7th December. This will include craft stalls and other festive treats.
