Councils working to re-open waste sites

The city and county councils say they are working hard to re-open some of their recycling and household waste sites later this month.

Under new Government guidelines, sites can re-open for waste that can't be stored safely at home.

LCC Footpath Strimming

Just to let everyone know we have chased Leicestershire council today, regarding the footpaths they are responsible for which are becoming overgrown.

They advise that they are *hoping* to resume services shortly but will confirm an approximate date for strimming ASAP.
